Pakistani cricketer Mohammad Mohsin bagged four crucial wickets in Texas Super Kings (TSK)'s convincing victory over Los Angeles Knight Riders (LAKR) in the opening match of the inaugural edition of the Major League Cricket (MLC).

Mohsin, who represented Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchise Peshawar Zalmi, shifted to the United States of America (USA) to play domestic cricket there.

The bowling all-rounder proved his worth in the very first match of MLC and gained massive attention.

Mohsin's four wickets helped TSK bowl out LAKR for 112 in 14 overs. Shahrukh Khan-owned LAKR were set to chase 182 runs in 20 overs.

David Miller (61) and Devon Conway (55) led TSK to a competitive total of 181-6 in 20 overs.

Andre Russell (55) fought really hard for LAKR but couldn't finish the game for his team.

MLC is backed by massive investment from the Indian Premier League (IPL) franchises.

Four out of six teams are owned by IPL franchises. IPL franchise Mumbai Indians bought MI New York team whereas Kolkata Knight Riders have Los Angeles Knight Riders. Chennai Super Kings also have their franchise Texas Super Kings in the league. Delhi Capitals' owners share ownership of Seattle Orcas.
